Methodology

Fieldwork dates: 3rd February 2025 – 7th February 2025

Interview Method: Online

Population effectively sampled: Employers involved in the hiring process in England and Wales (i.e. HR stakeholders, managers, people in leadership positions/SMT) (25+)

Online Sampling Method: A sample was selected at random from the online panel of adults, with sample selected to give a fair spread of respondents.

Sample size: 2,001 respondents involved in the hiring process of employees (i.e. HR stakeholders, managers, people in leadership positions/SMT) (25+)

Sample quotas: Quotas were added at the data collection stage to ensure minimum numbers of respondents at various seniority levels, to therefore create a robust sample. The survey is otherwise representative through natural fallout.
