High Net Worth Investors,
New Political Climate,
A global financial services company – operating in over 50 countries – wanted to understand high net worth investor attitudes across several territories. From the UK to Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Mexico, the client wished to position itself as a thought-leader in the aftermath of some significant political, economic and social changes.
Overall, high net worth investor attitudes were positive. Moreover, the research revealed that many saw flux as an opportunity. With bespoke surveys in each market, the research was able to provide a cohesive narrative while also allowing for cultural nuances.
For example, the research found that some of the wealthiest people in the UK had a positive view of Brexit. Three-quarters of UK HNWIs backed the UK to leave the EU, with younger respondents saying Brexit will have a positive impact on their long-term financial planning.

Globally Recognised Report
Ultimately, portions of the UK research featured in The Telegraph, The Times, The Guardian and City AM among others. These platforms gave the client the opportunity to comment on Brexit and the triggering of Article 50.
When the full global report launched in May 2017 it was recognised and lauded internationally. Internally, the report was distributed company-wide and shaped a new commercial approach around HNWIs.
